Development

Generally with this method of funding, you must provide 25-35% of the price of acquiring the asset. Meridian Money may then be able to fund 100% of construction in certain circumstances.

Meridian Money can also arrange take-out finance upon completion of the development in cases where you have been unable to sell all the properties in the project.

Meridian Money can also assist with introducing suitable builders, contractors, architects, town planners, engineers, and marketing teams to assist with developments if required.

Mezzanine

Meridian Money can arrange mezzanine funding for both construction and property investment tailored to the requirements of the project.

Mezzanine funding is sourced from specialist financiers and private sources on either a fixed coupon basis or incorporating a profit share component with a lower coupon rate. This method of funding is often expensive and should only be considered by professional developers with a sound and successful history of developments to ensure success in light of such potentially high gearing.
